Weekly What Bird

There were two guesses last week that were very, very close. Last weeks was Least Flycatcher. I had some other pictures of it that showed it's white eye ring.

    You're getting too hard! I'd guess White-winged Crossbill or Pine Siskin, but those are birds I'd expect to see here in the mountains!

    Ah, too bad. I thought I saw long primary projection on the other one.

    For this one, I'll guess female American Goldfinch. I don't know why.
