St. Vital Park Birding

At last! I finally am getting this post out... it always takes way too long. It's already been almost a month since we went birding with Christian Artuso and our homeschool group at St. Vital park.

Without further ado.

Here are some sparrows from the morning under our feeders.

We met with our homeschool group and Christian Artuso did a talk for us about Manitoba birds and identifying birds. After that great talk we went to St. Vital Park, a park nearby to the place we meet. We did some birding there. Let the pictures roll forth!

We walked down some trails and went willy nilly looking for birds.

And in this tree there are some pretty hefty holes, which would belong to a Pileated Woodpecker.

Annndddd, the last picture... there were a lot of pictures, but at least there wasn't a lot of text. With just a lot of pictures you can just skim through it, not having to read lots and lots and lots of text.

And that's the end. I hope you enjoyed. Thank you Christian for doing that with us!!
