We did some night photography of our Long-eared Owls with Christian Artuso the other day/ Sorry for not posting any pictures of the owls for so long.
This is actually one of the baby owls here. Not much of the fluffy baby owls they were a month ago. I realize now I haven't posted any pictures of them since they were first branching!! We've gotten plenty of photos, and have seen them almost every day.

Awesome picture! I would love to see an owl up close but the only ones I've seen have been very very high up in a tree, heard but not seen, or through a spotting scope :)
ReplyDeleteYes, we are pretty lucky to have Long-ears nesting here, and Great-horned every winter, plus that Barred Owl we had a while ago.
