We are currently at the hotel, we are leaving very soon to go driving around. I decided to make a quick post. I have seen 11 new birds so far. We also saw a couple polar bears, I got a decent picture of the bear.

Other lifers include a Red-Breasted Merganser, Short-billed Dowitcher, Commen Eider, American Black Duck, Pacific Loon, Red-necked Phalarope, Boreal Chickadee and some Long-Tailed Ducks!
Excellent! That's a wonderful list of lifers, and the Polar Bears must have been very special.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the remainder of your trip.
And just to add to my earlier comment: what a fabulous picture of the Arctic Tern. how did you achieve that?
ReplyDeleteWe were near the nest, I got some pictures of the eggs too. It was hovering around (and bombing us). It was hovering around a bit, so we were able to get some pictures! :D We got some more pictures of it, as well as some baby terns, sure to come in the blog post. :)
