Migration Window Hits

Nashville Warbler
Now that it's migration there has been a few birds hitting the windows. An American Goldfinch hit our window but ended up being okay. Three Warblers hit our window also, an Orange-crowned Warbler, Nashville Warbler and a Palm Warbler. Fortunately all the birds that hit the window this fall have flown away. You can put stickers or hawk decals on your windows to help the birds not hit it. The reason they hit windows is because of the reflection. The windows just look like their habitat to them. Screens are very good for stopped them, because it breaks the reflection and the birds bounce off of it.
